Rick Santorum Ad: Deal

Of course Gingrich supporters will cry foul and cite this as supposed proof that Santorum is a stalking horse for Romney.

“He’s not going after Romney.”

Right now, Santorum and Romney aren’t going after the same voters and this ad puts him in position to profit from Gingrich’s continuing implosion.

    Great Ad!

  2. Jeff Fuller Says:

    Great stuff :)

No one has a prayer in Nevada . . . it’s gonna be UGLY for anyone not named Romney. Paul will have a respectable showing, but Newt and Rick will be battling to avoid last place there. WOOT!

  3. Matt Y. Says:

    Nice.

Blow Gingrich away, then try to beat Romney in as many upcoming states as possible. Concentrate on Missouri, Minnesota, Colorado, Arizona, Ohio, Tennessee, and North Dakota.

  4. BD1 Says:

Wow, great ad as far as negative ads go…..And I don’t really understand why the very conservative voters support Newt. He is not conservative at all, he’s just good at hitting softball questions from debate moderators out of the park….

  5. Bloodshy Says:

Great ad. Newt is a complete disaster.

  6. marK Says:

This ad makes sense for Santorum. If Gingrich is going to implode, that means there are erstwhile Newt supporters available. It makes total sense for Rick to make a play for them.

  7. K.G. Says:

This ad is good to see. If either Santorum or Mitt won the presidency, the world would not come to an end. With Newt? Yes, it would.

  8. Machtyn Says:

It really is a great ad. Santorum is absolutely going after the ABR crowd. They will already (incorrectly) assume that Mitt Romney is under one of those cards. It doesn’t need to be stated.

It also gives Santorum an out, because he really didn’t say Romney was for Cap and Trade (which Mitt isn’t) or for Amnesty (which Mitt isn’t).

“Of course Gingrich supporters will cry foul and cite this as supposed proof that Santorum is a stalking horse for Romney”

    Wrong.

    Good ad.

  10. K.G. Says:

Santorum on CNN just now, slamming Newt about not being able to “run a disciplined campaign” or “stay on message, with his moon colonies and things.”

  11. K.G. Says:

If Rick can help take out Newt, good for him. It’s the moral thing to do.

  12. Micah Says:

I might donate to Rick just to have him play this ad on Fox News all day.

  13. Playing for Heart Failure | Race 4 2012 Says:

[...] opposite, in fact. Couple that with the news that the other ABR still in the race, Rick Santorum, is definitely making a play for any Newt’s supporters who might be souring on the former Speaker of the House, Gingrich is facing a long, rather [...]

  14. zeek Says:

Very good add. I assumed he was talking about Romney and Paul, and I was prepared to scream a rebuttal. He effectively slaps all candidates and specifically the one he is fighting directly for a segment of the voting block.

Good job Rick. Keep this up and perhaps we can have a choice between two good men!
