Still room for improvement I guess. Do have some reservations with MSNBC related poll though.

This poll is slightly dated, but it seems to reflect the state of the race well enough.

Obligatory BOOOOM!

Romney holds an enormous lead with early voters. Which either suggests that his organization has managed to drive more of his voters into the early column or most of the undecideds have broken towards him. Notice that Newt and Santorum aren’t really doing any worse in the early voting than they are overall- Romney’s just doing better.

This is more of what I imagined in regards the early voting and absentee voting, Mitt has a Huge lead among those and this poll is probably the most accurate and will prove just how Awesome our organization really is!

#7 Thank you for all the work you have put in for the Romney campaign.

Newt is back in Iowa mode. He’s angry, lying, unfocused, and blaming Romney for everything. I don’t see how he makes up the 15 points, according to this poll, that he will need to win by acting like this.

Romney should say “It’s astonishing that someone with Newt’s history is going after someone for low character. It’s, to use Newtonian language, profoundly, fundamentally, historically astonishing”.

I found this interesting. Newt is at The Villages today
“Through Sept. 30, the latest date for which campaign contribution information is available, Romney’s campaign received $80,500 in individual contributions from The Villages residents, including $77,500 from one event last April.
Renee Morse, owner of The Villages, and the community’s corporation, both gave $250,000 each to Romney’s super PAC, Restore Our Future, last June, according to Federal Election Commission records.”

Newt is off his rocker again. He called Mitt a “maniacal liar” on ABC this morning. This man seriously needs some help.
January 29th, 2012 at 12:12 pm
The best thing that can happen at this point is for Newt to just crash and burn forever. He is everything that he accuses Mitt of being, except shamelessly, openly, and without a sense of irony.
January 29th, 2012 at 12:12 pm
Why doesn’t people worry about Newt and the Pope He is his leader if Newt is Catholic. I am independent but this worries me ?
January 29th, 2012 at 12:15 pm
Newt is only damaging himself. He needs to get out of the race, before he ensures an Obama second term.
January 29th, 2012 at 12:17 pm
It’s astonishing that such a profoundly awful zombie from the GOP past as Newt has given Mitt a serious run for his money. Mitt will go from weak frontrunner to weak nominee.
The only hope is that enough congressional candidates can avoid being identified with Mitt’s invertebrate jellyfishy persona. Seriously, the 59 points of indifferent nothingness? A campaign argument for himself that boils down to, “Hey, at least I’m not as revoltingly bad as the other guy!”? “Believe in America” as a slightly less vague and empty retort to “Yes We Can!”?
Priebus needs to launch some RNC political life rafts to save the country from a second Obama term with a Dem congress.

Romney’s message and appeal will vastly improve once he gains a good head of steam in the primary. No need to worry. FL will start the engine in a big way, and NV will push the gas pedal, while Mitt wins the rest of the month’s competitions. Rick may drop out, but 1/3 to 1/2 will go to Romney when all is said and done. Grinch is not the savior he wants to paint himself as.
His free market, competitiveness, take back the country from the liberals will resonate across the country. No, he’s not your average citizen, but he is a TURN AROUND GENIUS. He will win over conservatives with time and when the choice is obvious. He will govern as a conservative in all ways.
January 29th, 2012 at 12:43 pm
Chuck Todd said when they took santorum out of the poll that it showed Romney’s lead expanding by one.
This myth of Gingrich that you automatically take all of santorum’s votes and add them to his is a lie and he is never called out on it. A lot of santorum voters are values voters so I don’t get how they automatically all go to Newt.
Santorum could win the missiouri primary with all of newt’s voters voting for santorum and newt will use this to say if he was the only conservative in the race he would win.

Fellow Rombots, just remember this when it comes time for your family vacation. Just remember what state got his campaign back on track.

January 29th, 2012 at 1:42 pm
19 – Let him continue to tell it. Maybe it will get Santorum out and allow Romney to expand his lead further.
January 29th, 2012 at 4:52 pm
MarqueG… It is pathetic that you say Romney is weak when every single person you wanted to support did not run because they were intimidated by Romney, or Romney just beat them fair and square. This happens all the time in sports you cream some putz on the matt and then after he screams your a weakling. If your going to keep screaming at least keep your choosen loosers attached to your name.
