Romney Campaign Announces Bolton Endorsement

From the official release:

Boston, MA – Mitt Romney announced today the support of Ambassador John R. Bolton.

“I am honored to have John’s support,” said Mitt Romney. “John has been a staunch defender of U.S. interests and values, both while he was in and out of government. John’s wisdom, clarity, and courage are qualities that should typify our foreign policy. I look forward to consulting with him as we campaign to restore America’s standing abroad and ensure that this century is an American Century.”

“Of all the candidates, Mitt Romney possesses the strongest vision for America’s leadership role in the world, and I am proud to endorse him,” Ambassador Bolton said. “President Obama has sapped America’s credibility abroad, weakened our military and failed to lead on issues vital to U.S. national security. President Obama has left America exposed to ever increasing threats. Mitt Romney will restore our military, repair relations with our closest allies, and ensure that no adversary—including Iran—ever questions American resolve.”

Apparently he was in favor of funding for abortion in China.

    Nice ad.

  11. John Says:

    8 — Endgame. Checkmate.

  12. Sean Says:

I really do hope Perry gets out after South Carolina. Just to save himself the embarrassment in Florida

  13. aspire Says:

3 I love how Perry Santorumgrich attacks Romney from the left on capitalism saying Romney needs to be ready to face these criticisms in the general election, however they ignore the idea that they need to face a criticism for the stance THEY’RE taking. If they can go anti-capitalist against Romney, then why not anyone else.

  14. Boomer Says:

    >>Columbia, South Carolina (CNN) – A group of loyalists to South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint – including a top fundraiser for Rick Perry – will publicly endorse Mitt Romney’s presidential bid on Thursday, a source confirmed to CNN.

    >>Former South Carolina GOP Chairman Barry Wynn, Columbia businessman and fundraiser Peter Brown, and Columbia attorney Kevin Hall will announce their support for Romney Thursday.

    >>Wynn’s move to Romney is striking. The Spartanburg financial adviser is a member of Perry’s finance team and traveled to Texas in August to meet privately with the governor before he announced his bid.

  15. Anybody but NEWT Says:

    #7 Thanks for the chuckle.

  16. Liz Says:

Newt stinks, Perry does not have much of a clue. Paul is smart but weird. There really is no one else and I’m not unhappy about that. Oh, I left out Santorum. ANd that’s his main problem.

  17. Craigs Says:

400,000 early vote forms mailed out in Florida already, more than all votes in Iowa and NHampshire. 50,000 votes in already. Romney running a major early voting effort there

  18. Dave Says:

The Party is lining up behind Mitt. SC will give him a percentage in the 30′s when all is said and done.

  19. Reaganite Republican Says:

Huge Bolton fan on defense, but man did he get this one wrong- bad timing to say the least

Mitt’s in decline, as Newt’s (counter) attack ads start to bite: Romney’s only up 2 pts in SC in the latest poll, and Gingrich is out front in NC already- the day’s soon approaching when Romney is going to regret forcing the doughboy to go nuclear.

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right Mittens?

    ha ha ha ha ha

  20. kirkha Says:

    19
Romney in decline? Whatchu smokin boy!?

The dough boy is tanking big time and Bolton is going to be the next Secretary of State.
