Utah seems to like to go early, but they aren’t on the list.

Washington state will hold caucuses in February. We aren’t on the list because our official delegate assignments will not be until the state convention later in the year, but the die will be cast early in the contest.

I thought 2012 was going to be different than 2008? Here it looks practically the same.

I’ve got up a post at CNN.com right now on Mitt Romney and what the media is missing in its 2012 analysis.
When the bulk of the Republican pundits and prognosticators support one candidate, the reporters and political analysts who rely on those Republicans tend to act as if that candidate is the one everybody supports.
The media, in effect, have become film critic Pauline Kael, who allegedly expressed surprise when Richard Nixon won, because no one she knew had voted for him.
This is what is going on with Mitt Romney. Just about every Republican pundit, commentator, and prognosticator that the media rely on for an insider take on the GOP — no matter how objective the inside take is expected to be — is within the Mitt Romney sphere of influence.

Interesting to read some of the earlier posts when Perry was the FOTM! Since then, we’ve gone through Cain and now Newt.
Looking at facts, listening to their plans/views as well as their ability to interact productively with others in debates/interviews/news conferences, etc. has certainly opened the eyes of many who realize while they may like so and so…….he/she is not prepared intellectually/organizationally to beat Obama.
Reasoned and educated electorates are needed. Sure glad Perry wasn’t “crowned” back in September or Cain the next month!

Washington State is a Caucus again this year and I will be voting my conscience and not what the media tells me to. I would encourage everyone to spend some time looking at the voting records of candidates. Are they consistent and are they the same way that you would vote? Ron Paul every time.
