    ARG = Pure hackery.

    However…..

    ROMBOT TRAIN WRECK PART II

Is playing at the Big Screen called RACE42012!!

This movie will be playing for the next 4 months.

We hope you all will enjoy the show.

  2. Omega037 Says:

Huntsman is within 7% of Cain….SURGE!!!

  3. jarvis Says:

LOL!!!!! Newt is amazing. He is going to take over the party.

  4. Abe Says:

The NEWT-A-BUST is coming…..mark my words!!

  5. Right Wingnut Says:

    Hilarious comment from Hot Air.

“ARG? That’s not only the name of the pollster. It’s also the sound Mittens’ campaign manager is making right about now.”

  6. Dr J Says:

This only gives more determination to the firing squad.

  7. stuntmanmike Says:

Ain’t buying what these temporal polls are teaching beyond yesterday!

  8. Craig for Huck Says:

    1.

    I agree 100%, Smacks.

If ARG were accurate, it would look like this:

    •Newt Gingrich 40%
    •Herman Cain 20%
    •Mitt Romney 19%
    •Jon Huntsman 3%
    •Ron Paul 2%
    •Rick Perry 2%
    •Michele Bachmann 1%
    •Rick Santorum 1%
    •Buddy Roemer 1%

  9. Kavon W. Nikrad Says:

    “Newt-a-bust”? LMAO!

  10. obamaisastatist Says:

it always amazes me at the end of the day, as GOP voters begin to focus on the campaign, name recognition always seems to be the driving FORCE

  11. Paul person Says:

Can’t wait for Paul to keep laying the smack dowmon the man who defeated communism and is a true celebrity.

  12. Craig for Huck Says:

Obama is going “arggggg…” too :)

    Hello Faddah, Hello Mama
    I’m Occupying, Camp Obama
    I’m protesting, Wall Street grabbings
And trying to avoid the hobo stabbings

  13. Alvin Says:

Well, Newt clearly has momentum and a lot of it, even though this particular polling firm should not be taken seriously. I have always wanted to give the voters the benefit of the doubt, I mean surely they would know at least the basics on each of these candidates. But maybe not….I guess I am searching for some tangible reason as to why Gingrich is catching fire like this

  14. Poll watching Says:

Better now for Romney then on December 29th.

Plenty of time for Mitt to become the comeback kid as Newt’s expectations are getting out of control and will likely bring him some good ole fashioned scrutiny.

  15. Alvin Says:

    11,

If only people took him seriously. Maybe they should

  16. Alvin Says:

    2,

If the pattern holds, he is next in line for an inexplicable bump.

  17. Kevin Jameson Says:

Just contributed to Ron Paul – he needs to keep airing that video exposing Newt as the horrible candidate that he is.

  18. Craig for Huck Says:

    Cain’s newest ad – JOBS!

  19. jaxemer11 Says:

Are you on the Newt train Kavon?

  20. Alvin Says:

    8,

You have Cain WAY overrated. He is done, mainly because either he can’t or simply doesn’t articulate his positions clearly enough to give even the least informed among the public any confidence that he can be president.

  21. Paul person Says:

    Damm straight #17.

Time to take that pomopous fat man down.

  22. Katechon Says:

    This is exciting!
I’m selling Gingrich at 55% in Florida!
    Yes!!!

  23. Katechon Says:

Smack’s right again. ARG is in the tank for Gingrich
    #friendship

  24. CraigS Says:

    Ha Ha Ha

Gingrich OWNS the GOP !. What does that say about the GOP ? Get ready for the end folks……it’s the WHIGS all over.A Gingrich nomination would DEFINITELY create a Third Party. No One on any side of the political fence believes America has sunk so low as to nominate Newt Gingrich for the highest office in the land. To many, perhaps most, ethics, morality, values and beliefs ARE still important. You may not like Romney………but you can’t possibly believe Gingrich is even remotely better.
Gingrich is best buds with Bill and Hillary . He should ask Bill Clinton about the 1992 election and a guy named Ross Perot, because that’s EXACTLY what will happen if Newt is nominated

    CraigS

  25. Smack1968 Says:

    “Smack’s right again”

The most often used phrase in the RACE42012 lexicon.

    :)

The 2nd most used phrase in the RACE42012 lexicon…

    “Smack is a moron.”

Some people realize SMACKDADDY’s brillance before others…..but in the end they all come around.

Once I was blind, but now I SMACK see.

  26. Metro Says:

This was confirmed by another pollster a couple days ago.

  27. blue Says:

the funny thing is newt would be praying for a 3rd party run if he got the nomination…no way he beats obama one on one but if things get divided by a 3rd party, bloomberg or huntsman, maybe he could get a good % of the overall vote among the 3. I doubt even newt wants to win the nomination though…don’t think he got into this race thinking that was remotely possible, rather it was more of a business decision to pump up his brand. Of course, a dog is fine with dog food but if you put down a filet he will lap it up…maybe newt is thinking different now and will and play the game and go all out for the nomination. I doubt the press will vet him much till/if he knocked out romney, than they do a 180 but for now, they will love him.

  28. teledude Says:

    Smack’s right again!

  29. aspire Says:

28 What’s sad is that nominating Gingrich would invite a 3rd party candidate – from the right.

  30. Katechon Says:

26 – PPP added a huge caveat : soft support
    Race is incredibly volatile

  31. mike Says:

I would never have guessed it in FL….thought Romney had it locked up.

  32. Katechon Says:

29 – Palin will fight against that. As for Huntsman : he is pure GOP

  33. casuist Says:

Plenty of time for Mitt to become the comeback kid as Newt’s expectations are getting out of control and will likely bring him some good ole fashioned scrutiny.

Yes! Only come back to where, or from where? When other candidates lose support it never benefits Willard; when other candidates gain support it seldom comes at the expense of the Willard (except for Gingrich).

If you favour Cain, Gingrich, or any candidate other than Romney, it is because you favour NOT-Romney. That isn’t going to change. The “inevitability” myth was only ever a myth.

  34. casuist Says:

I would never have guessed it in FL….thought Romney had it locked up.

Yes, Willard did too if his behaviour is any indication of his intentions. But Willard never takes into account the thoughts and views of actual GOP voters.

  35. casuist Says:

Willard needs Palin! Willard should jump down on his knobby knees and beg and plead for her endorsement just so that we can all witness the grim spectacle of their tortured courtship before Palin inevitably issues her NO after gruelling weeks of coquettishly hinting otherwise in that teasing way of hers.

    If only. If only.

  36. MPC Says:

Romney’s problem is that people if forced to choose between him and Newt are choosing Newt.

They are both so stained by their support at some time for the various scams that are now a collective weight around the country’s future via the debt burden that they can’t really attack each other effectively.

  37. Katechon Says:

    35 – Sarah’s kiss of death!

  38. teledude Says:

    35. works for me!

  39. casuist Says:

Romney’s problem is that people if forced to choose between him and Newt are choosing Newt.

The problem is about solve itself the way it did in 2008. Willard is preparing to go wretchedly over-the-top negative http://dyn.politico.com/printstory.cfm?uuid=6EE3808C-8D1F-43FF-9231-CA6F43101290 a move that always causes his own poll numbers to fall of a cliff as a figure as brittle and as vulnerable Willard cannot sustain the inevitable blowback of a negative campaign.

    It’s Darwin’s mysterious laws at work. It’s the non-survival of the non-fittest.

  40. Dave Says:

There’s something in the water in Florida. The Field Poll the other day had Mitt beating Gingrich in California, although not by the margin he SHOULD be beating Gingrich by…..it’s in Florida that the Gingrich phenomenon is strongest. And it was in Florida that the Cain momentum originated.

Cain’s now down to 10% in the state, and Perry, who was also once leading in Florida is down to 2%. If Newt wants to know his future in Florida, he just needs to watch the trajectories of Perry and Cain in the state.

  41. aspire Says:

We’ve seen so many of these surges, and Gingrich is so personally flawed that it’s hard to get too upset about these polls. I think what McCain showed us is that organization is a big freaking deal in these races.

  42. teledude Says:

    40. this time it’s different

  43. Dave Says:

    MPC,

Newt hasn’t been vetted yet. Romney, at 19%, still has a solid base of support in the state. We’ll have to wait and see where Newt bottoms out. My guess is it will be below 19% by the end of January.

  44. Sojourner Truth Says:

    ***WEEE OOOO WEEE OOO***

***Rasmussen National Poll: Newt Leads Romney by 21 points***

    Newt 38
    Mitt 17

    …all others in single digits…

  45. Katechon Says:

    OBAMA DESTROYING GINGRICH IN FLORIDA

  46. Katechon Says:

Biggest lead ever by any candidate this cycle

  47. Sojourner Truth Says:

    45 – Obama leads Newt by 50-44?

    That’s destroying?

    You Rombots are PATHETIC! Hahaha.

  48. Massachusetts Conservative Says:

ARG is a horrible polling outfit. We all know that.

Yes, Gingrich is leading in Florida. But he doesn’t have 50%.

  49. Sojourner Truth Says:

Yes, Gingrich is leading in Florida. But he doesn’t have 50%.

    I’m sure he’d be happy with 40…

  50. Dave Says:

    But Adam,

Wouldn’t you rather WIN Florida?? Mitt beats Obama there.

  51. casuist Says:

Wouldn’t you rather WIN Florida?? Mitt beats Obama there.

I would prefer to win with anyone but Willard.

  52. casuist Says:

    Rasmussen: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2012/election_2012_presidential_election/election_2012_republican_presidential_primary

National GOP Poll: Gingrich 38% Romney 17%

  53. casuist Says:

Please allow me to repeat, National GOP Poll: Gingrich 38% Romney 17%

  54. casuist Says:

    Now that’s destroying.

  55. casuist Says:

Gingrich is taking voters away from Willard’s formerly steady-eddy 20-25% but most 20% lately.

  56. Sojourner Truth Says:

Wouldn’t you rather WIN Florida?? Mitt beats Obama there.

Mitt beats Obama there in ONE POLL, today.

That tells us nothing about the general election.

    And this,

I would prefer to win with anyone but Willard.

    I second it.

  57. casuist Says:

    I second it.

Along with about 75% or more of the GOP base.

  58. Massachusetts Conservative Says:

    Gingrich’s campaign IS McCain’s.

Both were old Washington insiders with no business experience.
Both were in 1st or 2nd nationally in the Spring.
    Both collapsed in the Summer.
Both surged on the backs on the media.
Both got the Union Leader endorsement.
    Both lose to Obama.

  59. Spenza Says:

Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill are nervous about Newt Gingrich’s rise in the polls, with one member saying, “Newt’s hand is always six inches from the self-destruct button.” http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/196441-newts-hand-always-six-inches-from-the-self-destruct-button

  60. Craig for Huck Says:

    58.

I told you all to get on the HuckaTrain.

  61. Craig for Huck Says:

    57. :)

83% now and climbing per the new Ras poll TODAY.
