So, both Suffolk and ARG have Huntsman at 10 percent. Nice! The two (or is it three?) of us who support him finally have something positive to celebrate. Here’s to hoping he gives a solid performance tonight and keeps some upward momentum!

Wait until this sinks in:
http://campaign2012.washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/beltway-confidential/study-most-new-texas-jobs-went-immigrants
Perry’s swagger on jobs may be nothing more than an immigration problem.
Yikes, 80% of TX to immigrants.
September 22nd, 2011 at 4:50 pm
There just aint enough of them birth certificate huntin’ varmints in NH to give the Gold to Perry. Shucks!

Breaking News, Vicente Fox Endorses Rick Perry from Mexico City!
September 22nd, 2011 at 4:55 pm
1. Huntsman always sounds on the verge of crying…I know that is appealing to many metrosexuals and those moderate souls in NH.
Heck, it worked for Hillary in NH last time…maybe tonight he will actually break down in tears – locking up the NH primary! Brilliant!
September 22nd, 2011 at 4:58 pm
Yep. Perry has that minor little….emerging….corruption problem. The guy couldn’t think himself out of a paper bag unless there was a pile of crony cash out there somewhere. Then base instinct would get him out.
September 22nd, 2011 at 4:58 pm
I wasn’t sure if Vicente Fox would endorse Obama or Perry. Same thing, I guess.

Nah, I just made that up, but this one is for real, and as close to an endorsement you can get:

Wow! Just wow at the fact that 40% of the jobs in Texas have gone to illegal immigrants. Come to Texas illegaly and we’ll give you a job and discounted tuition for your kids!

2. 4. Debunked as a racist group putting out crap.
September 22nd, 2011 at 5:15 pm
“Perry from 2% to 13%???”
Yeah it’s really amazing how much difference actually being a candidate can make isn’t it?
September 22nd, 2011 at 5:17 pm
So I guess Huntsman really is gaining traction in New Hampshire…
sigh…

Johnny Hunt is in the hunt!
Woot!
What Huntsman needs to do is relentlessly and mercilessly attack Mittens – since Perry isn’t going to win New Hampshire anyway.
Say it with me. RomneyCare RomneyCare RomneyCare.
September 22nd, 2011 at 5:22 pm
Geez. Imagine if Mitt is forced to “get the silver” again in New Hampshire.
Perry and Huntsman need to form (what the Rombots would call) an unholy alliance.
September 22nd, 2011 at 5:23 pm
13.
See 14.
Are you Rombots that desperate? Instead of mud slingling, try running on Willard’s record.
(47th out of 5O states in job growth which would have worse if Louisiana and another hadn’t been hit by Katrina — plus RomneyCare’s MANDATES, exhanges, and subsidized medicine with the highest cost in the nation and climbing.)
Oh, wait. You can’t.

15. “Yeah it’s really amazing how much difference actually being a candidate can make isn’t it?”
That’s MY point!
Thank you!
September 22nd, 2011 at 5:25 pm
If I lived in New Hampshire I would vote for Huntsman.
September 22nd, 2011 at 5:26 pm

It all makes sense now, doesn’t it? The reason why Perry passed instate tuition for illegals was because 40% of the jobs his state created were precisely for them.
September 22nd, 2011 at 5:26 pm
Wow, Perry is in Buddy Roemer territory with non-tea party people. That’s not a formula for success. I’m a bit concerned with Huntsman’s appeal to indys, but I don’t think he has anywhere close to the appeal of John McCain with independents. I don’t see a way for Perry to win here.
September 22nd, 2011 at 5:27 pm
Huckabee wasn’t a candidate and smoked everyone poll aftr poll after poll after poll … Well, you get the picture.

September 22nd, 2011 at 5:29 pm
Perry and his supporters should team up with the Huntsman crew and do to Mitt in New Hampshire what McCain and Huckabee did to Mitt in West Virginia in 2008.
That was fun. I never heard Laura Ingraham shreak as much as I did that day. It was strangely sexy.
September 22nd, 2011 at 5:41 pm
Mitt’s firewall in New Hampshire just keeps getting stronger and stronger with these last two polls. Michigan, Nevada and Arizona in the bag as well. When the 350,000 Northeastern snowbirds land in Florida this fall, Mitt will have all he needs to secure victory in Floirda, with Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio by his side.
September 22nd, 2011 at 6:10 pm
2. “Yikes, 80% of TX to immigrants.”
It’ going to be more damaging when people flip it around and realize that only 19% of the TX jobs went to American citizens despite the fact that 70% of those entering the work force in TX are home grown Texans.
September 22nd, 2011 at 6:15 pm
4. WOW. That was the first time I’ve read Fox’s actual endorsement of Perry.
“Yo tengo un fe completo en la campana de senor Riccardo Perry por ser el president nuevo de los Estados Unidos. Yo se que senor Perry va a abrir la puerta muy abierta y llevar mis companeros de Mexico al norte del frontera. Senor Perry tiene la confianza y el vision para crear un paiz nuevo que puede unir nuestro sistema de salud y carreteras. Viva Riccardo Perry, y Viva Mexico!”
For those of you that don’t speak Spanish, this is what Fox said when endorsing Perry:
“I have complete faith in Rick Perry as the new President of the United States. I know that Mr. Perry will open the door very wide and carry my countrymen to the northern frontier. Mr. Perry has the confidence and the vision to create a new country that will unite with our health care and highway systems. Viva Rick Perry, and Viva Mexico!”
September 22nd, 2011 at 6:38 pm
I’m not a big fan of ARG’s polling.
September 22nd, 2011 at 10:40 pm
The good thing about this poll is that it shows WHERE Huntsman is gaining traction, and that’s with Independents……not Republicans. Of course, he’s still losing in this demographic as well, but he’s making gains, and lots of Independents vote in New Hampshire.
What’s interesting is that Mitt went up in this poll while Huntsman went from ZERO to 10%. Jon’s doing it at other candidates’ expense.
September 23rd, 2011 at 4:56 am
Interesting poll. Ron Paul made some good jumps.
Up to 12% overall (gain of 8%). 3rd overall.
Up to 10% among Republicans (gain of 4%). 3rd overall.
Up to 15% among Independants (gain of 5%). 3rd overall.
Up to 10% among Tea Party (gain of 5%). 4th overall.
Up to 13% among non-Tea Party Republicans (gain of 9%). 3rd overall.
Good improvements, and a steady upward trend in the polling. With Bachmann on her continued implosion, Perry’s corruption and immigration issues coming into the light, he’s going to be quite the contender in New Hampshire. 1st or 2nd come primary day.
September 23rd, 2011 at 8:12 am
Huntsman is clawing his way to viability. Lets hope this continues.
September 23rd, 2011 at 1:06 pm
Perry supporters are in sync with the Obama-liberal-pundit mantra from the Spring and Summer.
Obama’s liberal pundits consistently said that Republicans would be stupid to nominate Romney because of the Massachusetts insurance law, which they did only because they know Romney wants smaller government and has the best pro-business track record. Romney is the most electable Republican, and he will be a nightmare for the left because he is conservative.
September 25th, 2011 at 3:31 am
Romney would be a cakewalk for the left to stomp on. He can’t attack Obamacare nearly as well as any other candidate. He’s a flip-flopper. His business record isn’t half of what he’d like people to believe it is.
Heck, he’d be almost as easy for Obama to beat as Rick Perry would be. Ok, perhaps not quite that bad, but he definately lacks the biggest weapon in the arsenal due to being stuck with Romneycare.
Remember, Obamacare is a major factor in why 2010 went so well for the Republicans. If you don’t want to see that happen again, by all means vote for Romney.
