  1. MWS Says:

Judging by the favorables, none of these candidates are very well known yet, which makes for a wide open race. Given the mood of the country, and the Red Tide rising, I give Portman a 65% chance of winning.

  2. Not the bad Anonymous Says:

Please refresh my memory– is this a Dem or Rep seat that is open?

  3. Aron Goldman Says:

    Voinovich is retiring.

  4. MWS Says:

    Not,

This is a Republican seat. Voinovich is retiring. A year ago, a lot of prognosticators thought this would be a Democrat pick up. Things can change a lot in a year.

  5. Dave Says:

Rob Portman is one of our best and brightest and will be a leader in the Senate. Look for him to open up a lot more daylight between him and the Dem down the stretch.
