I think if Huck ran, he’d pulverize Lincoln.

Ohh – she’s in a heap of trouble.

It kinda sucks when you are an elected official and your constituents shift about 20 points away from you in a decade.

I hope she will lose in 2010.

Kavon, i think you’re reading the poll backwards. “voting w Harry Reid”=”voting for a bill with a public option,” right? but this poll says that, if she opposes a bill with a public option and votes to filibuster, 32% of people are less likely to vote for her, and only 15% are more likely. so blocking the bill loses twice as many votes as it gets her.
she can’t run far enough right to win over people who would rather vote for a Republican and if she does she loses people who want to vote for a pro-public option Dem.

Arkansas isn’t as Red on this as we’ve been led to believe. Of course, I don’t believe anything from just ONE poll.

Lincoln doesn’t dare vote for any public option piece of legislation. She will get crucified if she does.

“Lincoln doesn’t dare vote for any public option…”
Not according to this poll.

Huckabee would make a killing…and then he could roll all his campaign cash into a national run….sounds like a win/win to me…

#10 – Lincoln is in trouble, but i think it’s clear that the broad majority of people who would vote against her because of a public option vote would vote against her anyway. they didn’t poll this i think, but in other polls i’ve seen nationally, health reform in general is not as popular as the public option specifically. i think she’s crazy to want to vote *for* a bill that doesn’t have a public option – why not just vote against any Dem-written reform bill no matter what in that case?
