    Aron,

SUSA and Democracy Corps both have NJ polls out.

  2. Bob Hovic Says:

It doesn’t appear to make any difference who the Republican nominee is, at this point. They all lose by roughly the same numbers.

How can Jerry Brown be +15 favorable? Only in California could such a thing happen.

  3. Tom in SoCal Says:

Interesting that you have Diane Feinstein in the polls. I have not heard one thing about her running for governor.

  4. David Says:

People now have a nostalgia for California of the 1970s… when the state was in a lot better shape than it is today. Jerry wins in a walk.

  5. JA Pruce Says:

Meg Whitman is alright (a little matronly if you ask me) but I would have really liked to have seen Kelsey Grammer jump in the race for the GOP – he is conservative and is a wonderful communicator who exudes confidence and leadership and has great name recognition and a large fan base.

  6. pea-jay Says:

Haha funny JA…California following one actor-turned-politician with another?? Uh huh.

Jerry will win this in a walk. DiFi will finish her career in the Senate, even though the governor’s job is hers for the taking.

  7. MPC Says:

Meg Whitman has fairly low name ID, though. I’d give her a chance to run her campaign, which actually looks pretty good from this starting point, and see how close she can get. If the mood sours more on the Dems, a pragmatic conservative like Whitman could probably capture California. She’s also quite business and New Economy-oriented having been CEO of EBay, which should be a boon with the fiscal crisis they have over there.
