Ryan is very quick on his feet and extremely knowledgeable. Would be a great VP choice for 2012, though it would also be wonderful if he could beat Kohl or Feingold for a Senate seat.

I was intrigued by Eric Cantor after seeing him praised on this site… Then he went and whined about how Nancy Pelosi had hurt his feelings after the TARP vote.
I don’t know about the “next Gingrich” comparisons. I like Newt, but he’s an egomaniac. With the way Ryan seems able to use his background in economics to sell conservative ideas, hopefully he turns out to be more like the next Jack Kemp.
