Paul Ryan Demolishes MSNBC Hacks

Pay special attention to 4:40 where Katrina whoever accuses Ryan of being an anti-American commie bastard for…not supporting a public option.  Hysterical.  Ryan’s long been my second favorite choice for VP, after Jindal, and these kind of performances reinforce that feeling.

  1. Strong America Says:

Matthew, you are right, Ryan is good.
I hope he and Romney are good buds ;)

  2. Michael Says:

ROMNEY/RYAN or GINGRICH/RYAN would be fabulous tickets

  3. Hunter Says:

Katrina vanden Heuvel… I believe she’s the editor of The Nation. What an astoundingly stupid remark from her in this clip. Thank goodness Paul was up to the task of smacking her down.

  4. MWS Says:

I’m also a big fan of Ryan. In fact, my Ryan ’20 signs should be ready from the printer any day now……

  5. Heath Says:

Ryan 20 I like it. 16 years of Romney/Ryan or Romney/Jindal will fix this country up good.

  6. Marksal Says:

Ryan is very quick on his feet and extremely knowledgeable. Would be a great VP choice for 2012, though it would also be wonderful if he could beat Kohl or Feingold for a Senate seat.

  7. Aron Goldman Says:

    Mr. President, what’s the rush?
Obama could learn a thing or two about health care reform from Massachusetts. One, time is not the enemy. Two, neither are the Republicans.

  8. tim Says:

    mr. vice president!

  9. Joseph D. Walch Says:

Republicans are doing a good job cultivating principled conservatives. I have good hopes for Ryan, Jindal, and other up-and-coming republicans.

  10. OhioRepub Says:

I could jump on the Ryan bandwagon until he’s caught cheating on his wife.

  11. Kristofer Lorelli Says:

Paul Ryan has a lot of small-camera youtube video discussing economic policy.

I encourage everyone to look up the video’s. He is the gen-x Newt Gingrich.

  12. Strong America Says:

#11–I hope not Kris……..Newt couldn’t handle his personal life…..we need men and women who are in control of themselves in public and private

  13. fredo Says:

Ryan has a great future in front of him. But you’ve got to win a state-wide election before being on a national ticket, IMHO.

I would love to see him run for Senate.

  14. Kristofer Lorelli Says:

Ryan will never run for Senate…he has more power in D.C. as part of the GOP leadership…makes no sense to become a junior Senator at the back of the line in terms of committee’s.

  15. John Galt Says:

Wow, very nice job. He was well-prepared. Refreshing. Usually these morons let the msm handle them. Her statement was INCREDIBLE. Was she joking or does she seriously not understand economics 101?

  16. Pittsburgh Kid Says:

Ryan was Awesome. I am unsure if Carlos Watson is a hack. His questions were fair. On the other hand, Katrina came off as an imbecile and was owned by Ryan.

I am intrigued by him. I don’t know enough yet but I will.

  17. CalState Says:

My eyes have been opened…quick, lucid and knowledgeable. I will have to check more out on him.

  18. fredo Says:

    14.

Never underestimate the power of ambition. If he’s interested in national office, he’ll consider it.

Plus, he’s young and capable. He’ll rise in seniority amongst the blabbermouths as well.

  19. Liz Says:

I heard Ryan voted for Porkulus and, uh, he wanted punitive taxes for AIG bonus recipients. Maybe he plays both sides like too many politicians.

  20. Liz Says:

Oh no doubt that newscaster was embarrassingly ignorant, I’ll bet she’s still waiting for Obama to show up at the gas pump and pay her bill. She wants the public option Congress has? What does she think Obamacare is all about, forcing everyone to have a choice of private insurance? She is living in backwards world. I think they hire these people from a My Space photo with no interview and without checking their high school transcripts.

  21. Liz Says:

Hey did you see Michelle Malkin take Matt Lauer to the woodshed? HA HA! He saw no weakness in her and basically fell to his knees to worship, only pausing at the very end of the clip to shiver and grimace from the whipping he took.

  22. Liz Says:

I don’t want to buy the Culture of Corruption book because it will further turn my stomach and sicken me, I am sure, yet I don’t want to be the only one not in the know as it goes number 1. Dilemmas..

  23. Adam Says:

    This Ryan guy is GREAT!

  24. Alex Knepper Says:

    Yes!

    Fantastic!

    Wonderful, wonderful.

    Love this guy.

  25. Kristofer Lorelli Says:

OMG…Pawlenty just ‘capsized’ Chris Matthews in a speech…..I love this new Pawlenty!

  26. Kristofer Lorelli Says:

    T-Paw.

  27. Flip Dixon Says:

    Ah, Paul Ryan.

How refreshing to see a real conservative as I stand here amongst the Rom-bots.

  28. BWett Says:

I concur. I love this guy. More Ryan please.

  29. Adam Says:

    Flip,

You know what? I went from hating Romney’s guts to actually supporting him.

Personally I don’t care what end of the spectrum you are on regarding Mitt.

But can’t you offer anything else to a discussion than just constantly picking a fight over one member of the Republican party?

It just gets tiresome. What does Ryan have to do with Romney or the “Rombots”?

  30. Liz Says:

ROMNEY/RYAN ticket. That’s what Flip is getting at in a back door sort of way.

  31. Flip Dixon Says:

I’d be willing to vote for Ryan/Romney.

That’s how much I like Ryan.

  32. alaska jake Says:

Romney/Ryan or Romney/Cantor . . . either one would be my dream ticket.

  33. Hunter Says:

I was intrigued by Eric Cantor after seeing him praised on this site… Then he went and whined about how Nancy Pelosi had hurt his feelings after the TARP vote.

I don’t know about the “next Gingrich” comparisons. I like Newt, but he’s an egomaniac. With the way Ryan seems able to use his background in economics to sell conservative ideas, hopefully he turns out to be more like the next Jack Kemp.

  34. Adam Says:

    Ryan > > > > Cantor.

  35. palkins Says:

Awesome clip… and slamming the door on the public option… priceless.
