Kind of horrifying. But I don’t trust ABC/WaPo polls.

  2. MWS Says:

    22% Republican?

  3. MWS Says:

    Isn’t New York 22% Republican?

  4. Kristofer Lorelli Says:

#3, our party is less popular than Linda Tripp, baby seal hunters and the Chappaquiddick bridge.

  5. Nate Says:

I can’t believe they try to sell this bull. Clearly they are intentionally skewing results to further their agenda, and all the news media will buy it.

  6. pea-jay Says:

Even if the results are skewed leftward, the fact that 75% of the public thinks GHG should be regulated (even if it is overstated by 20 percentage points) is a clear indicator that the national mood has shifted on this issue. Add in a Congress and President with an interest in doing something on this issue, will likely mean that change WILL occur on this issue.

The reverse is true for abortion. With clear majorities against restricting abortion / revisiting Roe v Wade, NOTHING will occur on that issue during Obama’s term.

  7. otherwise Says:

i wonder why $10 a month is ok but $25 a month is much less so. (CBO, by the way, thinks that the household cost would be about $13 a month.)

  8. MikeKS Says:

    22% R. LOL.
