Hank Williams Jr. is planning to run for Senate in Tennessee as a Republican in 2012:
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Country music singer Hank Williams Jr. said he plans to run for the U.S. Senate as a Republican during the next primary election.
CMT.com said Williams has already talked with Sen. Lamar Alexander and former Sen. Bill Frist about his candidacy.
Does this mean that Corker is running for Governor?

Hank Williams Jr. would really stick out in DC.
Would it be a victory for the dirty South (Tommy?)

FYI: CMT is mistaken about their story of Sen. Alexander and Sen. Frist discussing his candidacy. While Williams is visibly interest in the position, Lamar and Bill were never contacted regarding his candidacy. When Lamar’s office read this story, they were shocked.

They immediately began vetting him, asking about his drinking, smoking, and all-night partying. His response was predictable.
Kidding.

This would be great. H.W. Jr. did a lot of rallies for Palin and McCain and he would be a breath of fresh air in the Senate or the Statehouse.

I take a little smoke and a lotta wine
I get high on all old friends of mine
I like the sweet young things and Old Granddad
And I like to have women I’ve never had

Now that I’m living in Kentucky I would certainly travel to TN help out old Hank. The GOP needs a serious shake-up and Hank can bring it!!
