  1. Kristofer Says:

“There have been significant changes in perception of John McCain in the two days of polling since he named Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. Since then, 49% of Republicans voice a Very Favorable opinion of McCain. That’s up six percentage points from 43% just before the announcement. Also, 64% of unaffiliated voters now give positive reviews to McCain, up ten points since naming his running mate.”

  2. Laurent Fourier Says:

If so, Kristofer, we should see a nice Palin bounce start to show up!

  3. Kristofer Says:

#2, yep, as soon as we get those days where Hillary and Obama spoke. Clearly, McCain was ahead yesterday.

  4. Faye Says:

I was just over at the Drudge report and read an article from Times On Line by Sarah Baxter titled “Sarah Palin: Conservatives find the girl of their dreams”. This British paper puts the USA’s MSM fair and balanced to shame. Good article.

  5. MVRed.com Says:

    What a bounce for Obama’s speech…. NOT

The bounce is from the convention nights 1-2-3…. if you figure in the polling of day 4, he didn’t gain a vote, he may have lost some with Palin’s announcement!

  6. Kristofer Says:

    His bounce came from Clinton.

  7. JerryO Says:

#4 / just over at Drudge and didn’t see the article you’ve referenced; could you post a link? Thanks much in advance!

  8. Faye Says:

It was still there.Right under the picture of Cindy McCain, shows Sarah getting out of a blue muscle car. I don’t know how to cut and paste but here is the web address:http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article4641030.ece#cid=OTC-RSS&attr=797093

  9. MWS Says:

It’s clear now that Palin at least neutralized the last pre-election speech Obama will give with a teleprompter before a national audience. Looking at Gallup, it looks like Palin was stronger than Obama’s speech.

  10. Richard M Says:

Kristofer, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think I think the last 3 days were about equal to today’s average. I expect Sen McCain to take a lead near the end of the week.
