It’s only one poll, and it’s Zogby. But here’s some amazing weekend news for you:
Zogby National General Election
- McCain/Palin – 47%
- Obama/Biden – 45%
Survey was conducted Aug 29-30 after McCain announced Palin as his running mate, or 2,020 likely voters and has an MoE of 2.2%.
A masterful move by Team McCain if this is verified by Gallup or Rasmussen in the next few days.

And that was Barack’s “grand finale” in terms of his presentation before the real debate starts. McCain/Palin were just starting their introduction. Excellent news!
Go Sarah! Go John!

The spam filter here is awful.

Interesting. Sometimes Zogby really misses but sometimes they are right. If this becomes a trend with the other polls GREAT!!Just speculating about the results from the election. What if we win? Will the dems say we stole it again? Yeah even if it is by a landslide. Those poor deluded people, can’t even win with the entire MSM on their side. I sure hope McCain\Palin wins and by a landslide.
Will there be a picture of Palin on this site like the rest of the fellows?

3 “Will there be a picture of Palin on this site like the rest of the fellows?”
Good idea! There should be. It should change to “GOP Ticket”

Basically it’s a notoriously unreliable poll of a bunch of self-selected internet junkies.

Hello Dizzy, I left a reply for you on “More Outrage” #66
August 31st, 2008 at 12:16 am
Im just really worried that this hurricane is going to pretty much wipe out the Republican convention, which McCain needs in order to get a good bounce in the polls.
August 31st, 2008 at 12:19 am
7- Me too. The best case scenario is it’s not quite as bad as anticipated and that the evacuations work great and we don’t have a lot of casualties. Then you can fly Jindal back late so he can give a victorious speech about how competently the emergency response was planned and it can continue the theme of “Republican Reformers”.
August 31st, 2008 at 12:21 am
Hey Rod, read the next article. I think the GOP has come up with a great idea that will solve most of that problem.
August 31st, 2008 at 12:25 am
Big S,
Are you out there?
You so rejoiced over Rasmussen’s internals yesterday, where is your sarcastic ridicule of Palin now?
August 31st, 2008 at 12:38 am
Hey it’s Zogby, but I’ll take it, along with some salt.
August 31st, 2008 at 12:53 am
Faye, im worried that this idea may not work out.

Does Palin have a Separatist Problem?
Remember when it was reported that her husband and son are not Republicans? Well, rumor has it that they may be affiliated with the Alaska Independence Party – a fairly large “third party” that advocates secession from the Union. Palin herself sent a videotaped message of support to them in their last convention.

Take a look, some fine analysis from a NonPUMA Hillary Clinton Democrat, seems to understand what just happened better then some on the right.

Sorry … that should be *Secessionist*, not *Separatist*.

# 14,KnightHawk, thanks for sharing the link. She nailed it better than a lot of us. What surprises me is that this lady has a brain. The way the Dems have been behaving since Clinton left office, I was thinking they behaved like spoiled, bratty children who threw tantrums if they didn’t get EVERYTHING their way. You know like most of them are behaving now because McCain stole their thunder and prevented the Boma bounce after his Zeus speech.
I suggest you take down that RINO’s(Chuck Hagel)picture and put Palin’s in right under McCain’s.
August 31st, 2008 at 6:31 am
I dont trust any of Zogby’s polls.
August 31st, 2008 at 7:32 am
Sure, Zogby’s polls are crap, and this is probably off, considering where the much more accurate Rassmussen is it. But the whole poll was taken post-Convention, post-Palin, and it’s still a PR boost for McCain/Palin, and something else to throw Obama off his game.

#4 … its because this site’s organizers are frumps and take too long to make any changes/improvements at all.

#20: Unless you’re willing to do the work yourself, don’t you think it’s a bit rude to come to someone else’s house and complain that the dinner isn’t good enough?
August 31st, 2008 at 12:08 pm
Now don’t be testy #20, Palin was only announced on Friday. Give them some time to make adjustments. I still want the RINO Hagel’s picture deleted and Sarah’s put under McCain. I’m so glad he retired, we in Nebraska had had enough of him.
