  1. Falz Says:

Well, I don’t blame them. After what we saw last night how can anyone with his/her right mind vote for someone like Obama?.

  2. FredsFighter Says:

    Well, it *is* Fox News…

  3. Reed Says:

Fox news is infamous for planting people in audiences like that…

  4. sas Says:

She had plans, policies, and knew the issues forward and backward. He practically circumnavigated the earth to givea simple yes or no answer.

The Obamabots are flooding ABC with complaints, but cannot dull the message that he just plain stunk. His “ums” and “ahs” and “the notion that” really were feeble. What an embarrasment he is. If the Dems nominate him they deserve to lose.

  5. terry Says:

The guy who made the comment didn’t sound like he was going to vote for either Clinton or Obama. It certainly didn’t sound like he was waiting to see who won before deciding to vote for McCain. I guess I am somewhat reluctantly agreeing with #2 & #3.

  7. David Says:

    New surveyusa polls out today.

  8. Adam Says:

    New massive SUSA poll dump:

    WI – Obama 49, McCain 44
    VA – McCain 52, Obama 44
    OR – Obama 51, McCain 42
    OH – McCain 47, Obama 45
    NY – Obama 52, McCain 43
    NM – McCain 50, Obama 44
    MO – McCain 50, Obama 42
    MN – Obama 49, McCain 43
    MA – Obama 48, McCain 46
    KY – McCain 63, Obama 29
    KS – McCain 54, Obama 37
    IA – Obama 49, McCain 42
    CA – Obama 50, McCain 43
    AL – McCain 64, Obama 32

  9. Matthew E. Miller Says:

So McCain doesn’t flip a single red-state there, but by holding onto VA, MO, OH, and NM, he probably slightly holds off Obama overall. Give Obama Colorado, and North Dakota, and keep everything static and Mac wins 271-267. Very, very close.

  10. Matthew E. Miller Says:

doesn’t flip a single “blue state”*

  11. David Says:

Interesting that both Rasmussen and SUSA have McCain down by 7 from Obama. Also, Massachusetts still close in polling again.

  12. Kevin Says:

If McCain gets New Mexico and North Dakota, which he should, he wins. He might even pick up PA, NJ, NH, MA, and one of the Great Lake States.

I really think he’s got it. Especially since Obama seems so intent on screwing up.

  13. Adam Says:

Can you imagine if somehow McCain manages a 272ish EV victory – but Obama racks up huge AA margins in southern states but still loses them by 5 or 7 points (instead of 15 or 20) and manages a popular vote victory?

    The Dems will FREAK!

  14. Kevin Says:

13, they won’t be able to if Hillary wins their own popular vote and isn’t nominated.

  15. Adam Says:

    Kevin,

That’s true. That would be soooo sweet. It would be great for the GOP to say “Hey – if you guys elected instead of selected your nominee – maybe you could have won – so shove it!”

  16. Andrew Says:

    Matthew–

You missed Iowa. Obama will beat McCain in Iowa, as that poll shows. Given your scenario with the rest of the states, that means President Obama.

  17. Andrew Says:

    #13,

Kerry got like 90% of the AA vote anyway. If Obama gets 95%, or even 100%, and even with some new registrations, there just aren’t enough of them out there who don’t already support the Democrats to make much of a difference. AA support helping Obama in the general just doesn’t add up.

Now, if Hillary pulls it off, blacks staying home in the general would definitely help us in some nothern industrial states…

  18. Adam Says:

I’m not convinced Barry will take CO.

  19. SGS Says:

Just to confirm, since I am deaf. This video is about the group’s reactions to the Democratic debate last night, and Mitt’s part is muted out, right?

  20. Kevin Says:

    19, yes.

  21. SGS Says:

    Kevin, thanks!

  22. sas Says:

Everyone – please go to the tape of Obama’s rally in Raliegh NC today where he flips the bird to Hillary Clinton . Talking about the debate – Hillary is in her element – middle finger to the face scratch.

I taught school for 35 years. Make no mistake – I know when some wiseass is giving the finger.

    Check it out.

    DESPICABLE.
