Mike Gamecock DeVine:
1 – Southerners and Christians (including Catholics and Evangelicals) astound the Left by failing to establish the first theocratic “impose our views” State in the United States. Instead, judges in Massachusetts establish a Secular Darwinist, Man-Made Global Warming Church theocracy in the Bay State, joining the non-Christian theocratic City-State in San Francisco. Christians whose churches were invaded and taken over for group orgies with Mayoral consent in the City by the Bay are welcomed with open arms by the ecumenical Muslim-Chaldean coalition in Baghdad.
2 – Pakistan fails to devolve into anarchy.
3 – The Taliban fails to take over Afghanistan.
4 – The MSM fails to report the above and continues to refuse to report the late 2007 US victory over al Qaeda in Iraq.
5 – Chelsea Clinton continues press blackout of nine year old reporters from Scholastic magazine and expands same to include ten-year olds from Nickelodeon.
6 – Bill Clinton finally utters Hillary’s name at a campaign stop in Chicago on February 4, 2008; loses his voice and suffers a myocardial infarction soon thereafter; is hospitalized at University of Chicago Medical Center; and is served with summons charging him with the crime of bigamy and assault and battery with a stogie by a Nurse Ratched.
7 – Colts defeat Redskins in Super Bowl.
8 – LSU defeats Ohio State for mythical BCS college football championship. Refuses Appalachian State challenge.
9 – Lakers defeat Celtics for NBA championship.
10 – Neither Huckabee nor McCain will win SC GOP primary.
11 – Obama wins Democratic Party nomination.
12 – Obama loses election to the GOP nominee.
13 – Mike Gamecock DeVine is vilified for refusing to predict who the GOP nominee, and next President of the United States, will be.
14 – Neither Huckabee nor McCain will be referred to as President-elect during 2008.

Bay Buchanan just joined Gov Romney’s campaign. Should have seen this coming a couple 100 miles away.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:12 pm
Really? Can’t say I’m surprised given Pat’s defenses of Mitt.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:17 pm
Bay’s a great pickup for Mitt and further validate’s Tancredo’s endorsement of Romney and also any time you can have some of of the actual Reagan team on your side isn’t going to hurt either.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:20 pm
I thought she was with Fred.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:22 pm
I have been hearing some, as of yet still unconfirmed, rumors that Speaker Gingrich may be planning to swoop in at the eleventh hour and try to play King-maker for his preferred candidate through a big endorsement announcement.

No love for the Patriots from race42008′s bloggers.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:24 pm
Pat has been defending Mitt a lot lately on MSNBC and the McLaughlin Group.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:26 pm
#6 This was tongue in cheek, and while I grew up a Colts fan and love Peyton, I think the Pats are the best team bar none since the 70s Steelers, and would be shocked if they did not go undefeated and win the Super Bowl.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:28 pm
Gamecock – as a Granite Stater I am glad to hear you acknowledge the supremacy of the Pats, reminiscent of the supremacy of my candidate of choice.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:32 pm
An off topic observation, but is Rudy the only candidate who is following Reagan’s 11th Commandment? If not, who is the closest to achieving this?
December 31st, 2007 at 4:33 pm
#10 They really are. I’ll never forget the Pats-Panthers Super Bowl. What a game. The Panthers, esp Delhomme, overacheived. I spent the whole game in awe of Brady. And I grew up on Unitas and Namath and also loved Fouts at SD for his ability to hit the receiver where the ball HAD to be. I think Peyton was robbed of the Heisman and is simply the master at the line of Scrimmage and a great leader.
BUT
I think Brady is possibly the best QB EVER!!!
And I also think that Moss has grown up and is the best since Jerry Rice or Kellen Winslow.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:34 pm
#10 I think that only applies after we nominate someone.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:37 pm
Okay, I’ll have a go.
Mitt will commemorate his GOP nomination by announcing he has just sealed his marriage with 49 other wives, thereby having one from every state in the union.
In the general election, he will run as the only true model moderate conservative democrat and the real father of his country, promising one new child per representative wife each year throughout his two terms.

I’ve no idea if Giuliani’s following the 11th Commandment. He appears to have fallen into a black hole.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:39 pm
I certainly agree with you about everything you had to say about the Pats … and Randy Moss will win the Super Bowl MVP … he has turned his act around in a great way this season … i hope he decides to stick with us next season … the Panthers this year really failed to meet expectations this year, eh?
December 31st, 2007 at 4:42 pm
A question I’ve been thinking about lately is can we really TRUST Mitt Romney?

Peter – nice try. Go away.

Do all of Huckabee’s supporters have to pass the mud spewing bigot test?
Your comment is offensive but, unfortunately, in perfect consort with your boy.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:45 pm
Peter,
No. We can’t. And if he wins the nomination, many people (except his Mormon boosters) will just have to support him on faith with the idea that Mitt is a question mark and Democrat Candidate X is undoubtedly bad news.
December 31st, 2007 at 4:52 pm
#15 Delhomme’s injury is the CV, but the Panthers were over-rated due to the weakness of their division. The owner, Spartanburg, SC’s and former Baltimore Colt star, Jerry Richardson is great, and he will turn them around.
The NFL is a rough place. Look at poor Arthur Blank in Atlanta. A great man, and he will also eventually get a suoer bowl as will richardson.

“Mike Gamecock DeVine is vilified for refusing to predict who the GOP nominee, and next President of the United States, will be.”
Hey, it takes a lot of courage to say that you honestly don’t know! (and frankly none of the rest of us do either)
December 31st, 2007 at 5:00 pm
Irish, lighten up. It wasn’t meant to be mean, especially since I was predicting Mitt would win the GOP nomination. Heck, Mitt has even joked about the Mormons=Polygamists cliche.
December 31st, 2007 at 5:02 pm
go redskins!

“No love for the Patriots from race42008’s bloggers”
Sorry to burst your bubble, but that’s a pretty universal phenomenon outside of Boston Metro Area…the rest of us at getting sick of Boston winning everything (especially those of us in Colorado, who sill haven’t forgiven the Red Sox for buying that World Series win over our Rockies)
December 31st, 2007 at 5:05 pm
On #5. Who is he going to endorse? I would think Rudy or Fred would be his most natural pick. I don’t understand why he apparently likes Huckabee though.
December 31st, 2007 at 5:13 pm
Gamecock did you see the LA/Boston game last night? What are you smoking?
December 31st, 2007 at 5:24 pm

Well, I’m down here in South Florida and I’m rooting for the Patriots. If, for no other reason, to shut up Mercury Morris.
December 31st, 2007 at 5:30 pm
#26 No and Gold and Mild. Hey, I am a life long Laker fan, from Chamberlin/West to Jabbar/Magic to Shaq. Followed Shaq to Miami. Impressed that weird Kobe is doing so well.
Also should mention that Dominique and the Hwks and ‘Zo and the Hornets were favs.
But, to be real, the Spurs and Pistons or Celts are the best picks.
December 31st, 2007 at 5:35 pm
#24, what do you mean by buying the world series?
The truth is that the NL sucks!!
Here are some other AL teams that would have beaten your Rockies: NYY, TOR, CLE, DET, MIN, LAA, & SEA.
The National League is AAAA.
December 31st, 2007 at 5:36 pm
Drudge has a great link to video of Huckabee’s “announcement” this morning. You can see his sincerity as he announces he won’t attack Mitt, only to be laughed at when he gets the footage ready to roll. Of course he is only showing the spot it to prove it exists, but trust him he is only interested in the higher road. And Peter here is asking if Mitt can be trusted.

A Polling Firm who nailed the 2004 Dems numbers in their last Iowa Poll is out. It proves what the buzz around the interals of the Campign is showing that Edwards is pulling away.

BTW, Bay Buchanan is a Mormon. The question is why she backed Tancredo in the 1st place.

#13 No YOU lighten up. It wasn’t funny.
December 31st, 2007 at 7:59 pm
#32 Harry Reid is a Mormon. So what is your point?
