Go Thompson. Take out mccain in iowa and get so mojo going. romney/thompson sounds good about now.

looks like romney overtook huckabee in iowa on intrade.

  2. John Galt Says:

That said, I can’t stand the head bobbing.

he moves his head way too much. it distracted me so much in his initial declaration for president. i tried watching the whole thing, but couldnt get past the first minute. keep your head still boy. this isnt die hard 2

Who is going to see this and how?

I have been a great admirer and supporter of Senator ThompsonI but I have come to the conclusion that his campaign this year is a sort of ‘testing the waters’ or practice phase and that he will retool and suit up again for real in 2012 or 2016.

I love Fred. I don’t think there is anyone as genuine and a personable as Fred Thompson. I think he would be a great grandpa to take my kids to go see. Politically, I could support him on almost any issue out there. He is a true conservative. I also know that he loves his country and the values it stands for.

But, did anyone really watch or listen to that WHOLE speech he gave? Even for me (granted I’m only a part-time political junkie) it was a challenge. I just don’t think that he has the excitement and energy to lead in presidential capacity. There is no way he would be able to take on the Democrat challenger whom ever it may be.

    God bless you Fred.

good points. Perhaps this is great, but I wouldn’t know because I am not going to spend 20 minutes watching a Youtube. Fred should have bought local Iowa TV time for this. Internet views are fast and quick, it’s a different medium,

  9. RayinNH Says:

I actually watched the whole 18 or so minutes and I liked what he had to say but I come back to my #4 – who will actually see this? How will they see it? I just don’t see how this will have any affect on the race which is sad because I want Sen Thompson to finish 3rd in IA to slow JMac down. RuPaul in 4th in IA would make me very happy as well.

  10. JA Pruce Says:

Win or lose, I think that Fred’s energetic rallying cries of “No Hand Shows,” and “Saddle Me Up” will go down in Presidential Primary history as some of the most endearing and heart felt proclamations in recent memory.

Good piece by Fred. Atleast 5 minutes to long, maybe 12 minutes to long if its intended purpose is for youtube.
Surely Fred would be trying to put this on air? Anyone able to confirm? If this piece reached a good size audience
I think Fred would draw from Huckabee. Romneys 25 – 30% in Iowa seems pretty set.
