For over a year I have dismissed the conventional wisdom that Hillary was unbeatable in ’08 and endured much ridicule from many of the commenters here at R4’08.
I have also asserted for over two years and more that Bill Clinton was now only the Willie part of Slick Willie and that a skeletons in the closet general election campaign could be a threat to his life. It looks like his wife may be spared a general election campaign, but his life appears to be in jeopardy sooner than I thought as
The Picture of Dorian Gray makes another appearance on Charlie Rose:
In a Charlie Rose interview, President Clinton goes negative on Senator Obama and his “roll-the-dice” supporters, adding, “The Obama people got the press on their side.”
The Atlantic’s Marc Ambinder: “Toward the end of the interview, his hands began to shake and his face reddened as he discussed the political thicket his wife finds herself in.” Rose indicates on air that Clinton aides in the booth are trying to cut off the interview.
Imagine what would happen if he ever had to undergo questioning from a non-liberal shill. Why, he might poke someone in the knee.
This is the major cog in the so-called “powerful” Clinton machine.
Something was always inevitable. Her election wasn’t it. What’s happening now was.

I want to see this interview. Its almost like the Clintons are so craven for power that it deforms them. Perhaps there is White House furniture that they intended to steal that they left behind. Or maybe there are still some Rose Law Firm documents in the attic.

1 – If Hillary doesn’t make it and Huckabee does, he can grab the furniture for them – he’s talented in that regard too.

Heck – the Clintons and the Huckabees probably have a big warehouse in Little Rock where they store all their collective furniture and share it. Politicians in Arkansas seem to have special talents.

I still think that no Democrat can beat her and no Republican can lose to her.

Everyone should watch or read this. Clinton seems unhinged almost.

Regardless of what happens to Republican chances if Hillary goes down, it will be worth it just to see Hillary, Inc. implode.
Wolfson, Penn, Ickes, Blumenthal and all of the other ethically challenged egotistical viciously dishonest elitists will use their talents at lying to carve each other up, and there is no telling who Hill and Bill will want to carve on.
When the rats on this ship start jumping in order to save their own reputations, it will be worth the price of admission.

“Imagine what would happen if he ever had to undergo questioning from a non-liberal shill.”
Charlie Rose is, by far, the best interviewer on the planet.
This interview with Bill is a perfect example. If Rose had handled it like a Hannity, Bill would have eaten him up alive. Dealing with hostile incoming is a Clinton specialty.
Rose’s tactic is to make the interviewee feel comfortable, then prod him into opening up. The result – you get to see what the person is really like. I agree that Bill looked terrible in this interview – shamelessly shilling and being quite unconvincing. Rose did his job masterfully.

#11 I did go too far on Rose. He does a good job.
