#1) You know what’s funny — Mitt is actually a uniter not a divider when he talks about the differences with Hillary. Note: he includes that she has “not run a city” either. This candidate Mitt Romney is a humble but also a powerful candidate. If Rudy does secure the nomination, Mitt will be at his side supporting him. That’s the kind of leader we need, in the mold of George Washington.
We do not need a used car salesman leading this country. I would rather have someone in office that will be honest, and i disagree with, then someone who is just going to tell me what I want to hear.
#4) hmm GH08… so did you think Romney acted like a used car salesman in this piece with Hannity? I want a President that can communicate his message effective enough that change happens and people are persuaded to be apart of that change. I want a President that believes in conservative principles (family, financial, defense).
When it boils right down to it, GH08, every candidate *IS* selling his/her message. I think Mitt’s message so far gives me the clearest reason to support him.
Romney here categorizes candidates into 2 classifications; those with executive experience and those without. The American people have always expressed a strong preference for executive experience at the ballot box. In the general, Romney has consistently shownthat he will attack her on this theme, and attack her relentlessly. It’s also a weapon he’s using against Fred and McCain supporters right now, but he’s using it obliquely, and not overtly. Rudy caught on to this, and has been doing the same vis a vis Hillary.
giuliani huckabeee. don’t be ridiculous. so rudy has a monopoly on hillary bashing. . . . stop whining.
if you want someone honest giuliani/huck, then why is rudy your choice? i think he has demonstrated in many ways his dishonesty. just ask his wives what they think about his honest.
Flip flopping on Hillary being “uniquely unqualified” to uniquely qualified is allowed and almost necessary to adequately illuminate Clintons. Of course when we use “uniquely qualified” the 22nd Amendment rocks as her claim is she has already been commander and chief. In the 1992 race going negative was wrong for its time where as in this new world of “2008″ a suggestion for and absence of decorum seems right method. Mitt and Hillary opponents, flip flopping may be your best strategy.
Just read the transcript, yep that was a very good interview. I really like this guy! I can see there will be lots more hecklers now that Mitt is rising to the top in a public way. I’m ready for them….
Just answer me one thing: What has Hillary Clinton ever accomplished that would somehow qualify her to be President? As Mitt says, she’s never even ran a corner store!! Just like Fred Thompson, she did nothing noteworthy. Of course Fred is known for his McCain/Feingold/Thompson assault on the first amendment putting the Republicans in a huge disadvantage on campaign financing.
Mitt is totally correct on Hillary is not qualified! As usuall Mitt communicates his message well.
I believe Rudy is following in Mitt’s lead in these remarks.

Rudy is the Hillary slayer, not Mitt… I hate it when he tries to steal Rudys thunder!

#1) — also note: Giuliani was *NOT* the Hillary slayer in 2000.

The other Ryan: Dude, grow up. The guy dropped out because of an illness. He would have beat her.

He is exactly right. Not many dems watch HC, but hopefully some saw this footage.

Joe M,
Speaking of illnesses, Dude, why don’t we grow up and nominate the guy who doesn’t have cancer.

This is why I like Kavon. He keeps his eyes on the prize and is supportive of each of the Republican candidates when they hit one out of the park.

I saw this on H&C last night, It was a very good interview.
October 30th, 2007 at 11:36 am
I agree, one of Mitt’s top interviews so far
October 30th, 2007 at 11:40 am
I’m starting to like Romney more and more. Giuliani is still my #1 pick, but Romney is looking really good. Romney would be a great president.
October 30th, 2007 at 12:13 pm
BTW, Giuliani/Huck, the “Hillery’s never run anything” line is originally from Romney. Rudy’s the one stealing the thunder.
