There is no way to stop Rudy from winning NJ. I don’t know why polling agencies are wasting their money on this kind of a poll – they need to get some of the other states that haven’t even gotten a poll yet!

This is like all new jersey poll all the time month. How many times are we going to hear about rudy’s lead in new jersey. Is it still news worthy?

We get it. Rudy will win NJ hands down. There’s no point in posting these polls, lol.

There is at least one “news worthy” part of this poll: McCain and Romney are within the moe of Hillary and Obama among GOP voters.

Who in their right mind includes Clinton and Obama in a GOP primary poll? Is there a reason that I’m not picking up on here?

MattyN: ‘Who in their right mind includes Clinton and Obama in a GOP primary poll?’
This wasn’t really a primary poll. They asked: “who will you support for president?”

It’s Rudy’s and it is not even close.

Terry, thats the 5% of gop voters in NJ who have no idea nor have an inclination to have an idea about politics.

John asks: “Is it still news worthy?”

Evidently so.
As long as Rudy remains the frontrunner, polls will continue to monitor a state that the former New York mayor uniquely puts into play for the GOP. What I don’t understand is why FDU didn’t ask about potential general election match-ups. It’s rather obvious Rudy is going unchallenged in his backyard within the party. The question many political pundits are mulling is whether Giuliani can actually defeat Clinton in a blue state like New Jersey. According to the recently released Quinnipiac poll, Rudy holds a one point lead over Hillary in the Garden State, 45-44%. If he is still ahead of her in Jersey the days before the primary/caucus season commences, it reinforces the notion that Giuliani is the most electable candidate in the field and gives the Republicans their best shot at an electoral victory next November.

Aron,
If we go by GE matchups at this point, then Giuliani will lose TN.

Why do we keep posting NJ, it’s like posting Utah.

Thanks, Awakened. I didn’t click the link and just looked at it listed as “GOP Primary Poll” on the site and got thoroughly confused. Still…what’s wrong with these Republicans in New Jersey who support Clinton.
