A Ron Paul heckler showed up at the airport in Texas today to speak with Fred Thompson. Be sure and watch the ending. This is the kind of thing that gives Dr. Paul a bad name.

UPDATE: From MSNBC
****UPDATE****Per NBC’s Clint Houston, on the ground in Hobby, TX….
In addition to Thompson’s vocal heckler, a second protestor was asked to leave the premises at this morning’s campaign stop in Hobby. Unlike his counterpart, the man went quietly out a back door at officials’ request. Neither protestor was arrested after being escorted off the property by police.
Here’s the kicker: The two were spotted leaving together in a car sporting a Ron Paul bumper sticker.

Heckler? Tommy.
As I can see in this video she was a US Citizen asking questions and she was thrown out of the airport with no particular reason.
Are you out of your mind?
July 25th, 2007 at 9:33 pm
God forbid anyone ask Fred a question
July 25th, 2007 at 9:37 pm
Yes, mirek,
A heckler. Yelling out truther conspiracies is the wrong way to get any sort of positive attention, I’ve visited her site, and the stuff she has up is offensive. The 9/11 was an inside job line might win Charlie Sheen and Rosie O’Donnell, but not me. What you are failing to see is that she was asked to leave not by Thompson, but by the local authorities.
July 25th, 2007 at 9:40 pm
jake,
Why don’t you address her Giuliani posts on her site here. God forbid you take anything for what it is. If she shows up at one of his events, I hope Rudy doesn’t have her arrested.
July 25th, 2007 at 9:46 pm
I just watch it, and she was anything but heckling. She only yelled out when they made her leave, it appears.
July 25th, 2007 at 9:46 pm
watched*
July 25th, 2007 at 9:47 pm
9/11 was not an inside job… 99% of Americans agree with this…. 99% of Americans don’t know anything about Fred Thompson besides what the media has built him up to be.
July 25th, 2007 at 9:53 pm
heckler? this is still America, right?
July 25th, 2007 at 10:00 pm
Yes, this is still America, but you don’t ask questions that are blatantly out of whack and offensive. When you show up and go off on a 9/11, New World Empire tangent about a piece that was written by people from the CFR, then it is like saying that all Republicans, including Ron Paul, are war mongers, since he is a member of the same party. God forbid anyone think for themselves. Buying into the one brain one organization theory is ridiculous.
July 25th, 2007 at 10:11 pm
I watched it. First of all, the woman was given time for her initial question which was answered. Only then, she comes back and attempts to force herself in the most shrill manner to be addressed again. Emotionally imbalanced, rude, and rightly dealt with by security.
World Trade 7?…nut
July 25th, 2007 at 10:21 pm
She didn’t just heckle and yell at Thompson and spurt “truther” BS, she also shoved past security and charged for Thompson. When you do that to Presidential candidates, that considered a threat. Rightly delt with by security indeed.
July 25th, 2007 at 10:28 pm
I like how FDT said he was a “fella” at the American Enterprise Institute.
July 25th, 2007 at 11:30 pm
Mirek — How about some information from the guy standing right next to the Ron PauLunatic during the entire confrontation (that is my red Hawaiian shirt that pops into the video a couple times).
The event was held at a private air terminal, not the city-owned terminal. The campaign committee had permission to hold an event there — the Ron PauLunatics did not have permission to be there disrupting it. And if you notice, he answered her first bizarre question — but when she tried to take over the event, she was asked to leave and required to do so when she refused.
July 25th, 2007 at 11:34 pm
@jake, and all
“99% of Americans agree with this”
Oh my, you’re quite wrong about that. See this older poll:
http://www.scrippsnews.com/911poll
Or maybe this one:
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/1998/11/20/opinion/main23166.shtml
So, I’m not sure your 99% is all that accurate, or wise.
I have talked with many people all over this great land, and I am telling you my honest assessment when I say: Ron Paul is going to win in a landslide. It’s going to be a huge margin. If he’s robbed of the GOP nom, he’ll go independent hopefully with a split ticket like Gravel or Kucinich, and THAT landslide will be even bigger. RP is right, the GOP has lost its way, and as such doesn’t understand that they are screwed if they try to maintain the status quo. RP is the only candidate that can beat Hillary. Fred Thompson doesn’t stand a chance, and as his real record comes out, he will lose vast credibility because his record sucks. Just like Obama, who has crap for a record.
Those who are still calling RP a long shot do not understand the political landscape. This site ranks him last in the GOP, and puts the criminal Giuliani first. Listen up, morons: Section 1 Clause 8 of the Constitution says:
“No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.”
However, Sir Giuliani accepted a title of nobility from the Queen of England. His sought presidency would *directly* violate the constitution! And you call yourselves informed conservatives, I’m sure. Are you really? Seems unlikely.
So ya know, you really should rethink that position. It’s prima facae wrong.
And Newt, lol. Dream on. He has no capital with the people, he’s limited to inside the beltway and talking head news trash.
Again, I wonder just what you’ve been smoking that distorts your understanding of the political topology so badly. I mean, you’re on the net, how can you not know that RP’s the best thing for the GOP in terms of party building? He’s a rock star. And here you are foisting no-win Thompson as “star power” that is but a candle. C’mon, folks. Think it through. Another terror attack shows that DHS is a failure… do you think that the American people will believe that we need MORE anti-terror agents when the clowns at DHS couldn’t prevent another one? They won’t.
Further, I say in all seriousness, because I KNOW ALL about 911, that if the bastards pull another one, there’s a very good chance that it will backfire on them. And backfire HARD.
But, I suspect that this is all just so much noise to you, considering your current politics in 7/07. So it goes, but don’t say I didn’t warn you. RP’s gonna win.
Be well.

Dragging away by force an American citizen who asked questions about a canidates involvement in AIPAC and the Noth America Union deal, and yes(gasp)
Challening a canidate about the “Offical” record of 911 and
this gets her cuffed and thrown into the back of a black and white?
It looks bad, it smells bad, for a very good reason, it was a rotten unamerican thing to do
and now it is all over the internet. It was very USSR like. Two thumbs down.
Republicans are in bad shape and it’s not such a bad idea for them to go away
for a few years and rethink who they are and what they stand for.
It’s all a bit much. Time has a way of sorthing things out,
Republicans seem to have a cancer that is spreading into
everything they say and do.
My two cents is go get some tretment and cure the ailment, come back when you are healthy and stronger.
July 26th, 2007 at 1:01 am
although one person didn’t say it, I will. Maybe this was one of the unintended consequences of McCain-Feingold-Thompson….hat tip to Timotheus.
July 26th, 2007 at 6:17 am
Ron PauLunatics ????
How easy you attach Ron Paul name to someone who possibly is lunatic.
What is your interest to paint Ron Paul as a lunatic.
Are you saying that I am lunatic too, because every Ron Paul supporeter is lunatic?
Oh, well?
I can tell you something. You are the lunatic. You are asleep, because you don’t ask questions about North American Union.
But one day you wake up. You wake up as a citizen of completely different country. Country of American Union. And perhaps then you realize that you were never asked to change you citizenship. But it won’t matter, because you let others to decide you citizenship and.
July 26th, 2007 at 6:25 am
I think the larger point in all of this is that Thompson completely deflected the woman’s question. I don’t want to take any position on her “stability” but the fact of the matter is that it looks like FDT is an open-borders guy and his answer was just as evasive as he has been on abortion. Why doesn’t he just take a position and explain it? Why all of this “I like to get different points of view” nonsense? Is it because elites, especially so-con elites, in the GOP establishment are simply propping this guy up because he walks and talks Southern and is one of them? Where’t the beef with Thompson’s answers…on ANYTHING? Where is the substance? It seems to me that nominating someone like this guy “Fred Uh Uh Uh Uh Uh Thompson” is exactly the wrong direction for the GOP. He’s weak on details. Does he even know what his positions are? Does he have to be told what to say by his handlers to be more palatable to socons? Give me a break! This guy is George W. Bush 2.0. What do you think our chances of winning in ’08 are if we run George W. Bush 2.0?
July 26th, 2007 at 8:05 am
Adam!
It is the large point, but there is a largest.
It is the fact, that for many on this site, it is completely acceptable to use goverment force
to quiet a US Citizen asking question!!!
It should no matter , if she is a lunatic or heckler, she was not treat (only to cover ups and lies).
July 26th, 2007 at 8:43 am
Ugh,
The woman whined like she was tortured by the police when she was asked to leave. 9/11 an inside job? Pleeease..
July 26th, 2007 at 9:18 am
Sean P: He is not a presidential candidate yet. Just because he is play-acting the role of one while sitting on the fence, does not give him the benefits.
July 26th, 2007 at 9:19 am
(Not that I am advocating bad behavior)

An association fallacy is a inductive formal fallacy of the type hasty generalization or red herring which asserts that qualities of one thing are inherently qualities of another, merely by an irrelevant association. The two types are sometimes referred to as guilt by association and honor by association. Association fallacies are a special case of red herring, and can be based on an appeal to emotion.Guilt by association can sometimes also be a type of ad hominem fallacy, if the argument attacks a person because of the similarity between the views of someone making an argument and other proponents of the argument.

Tommy: The woman wasn’t heckling until she was asked to leave.
Willis_Wyatt: I’m not sure if you were intentionally implying that you too believe in the 9/11 “inside job” hysteria, but you left that impression. If you do believe the hysteria, here’s something to think about: in an age where government employees can leak information with impunity (except Libby) why hasn’t the NYT/Washington Post/AP done an expose (like they did on the terrorist surveillance program and the tracking of terrorists money transactions)? Are they all part of the conspiracy too?
With regard to Rudy, apparently, you have missed the most important parts of Section 1, Clause 8:
“No Title of Nobility shall be GRANTED BY THE UNITED STATES: And no Person HOLDING ANY OFFICE of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.â€
He wasn’t granted a title of Nobility “by the U.S.” and when he was apparently knighted he was not “holding any office.”
July 26th, 2007 at 12:27 pm
“Don’t fuss with me” That truly is a presidential and intelligent answer? DUH!
I use to have compassion for individuals (this includes you Tom Oliver)who were “brainwashed” by the likes of Bush/Chenney, “Rudi McRomney” and cousin “Freddie” Plus Dem Relatives “Obama” and “Hillary” (all of them CFR Globalist?)… However, now I can only feel sorry for them…
July 26th, 2007 at 4:33 pm
Even when he was holding office, it wasn’t a federal or even state office. Does the Constitution prohibit a mayor from accepting such an honor? Either way, it clearly doesn’t prevent a former mayor from accepting such an honor, and it clearly doesn’t prevent a future president from doing so either. That argument is nuts, and it’s shameful that a Ron Paul supporter could make it. I’m not fan of Paul, but I have to say that his passion for the Constitution is admirable. He may not always get it right, but he never gets it as wrong as that argument does. He’d be thoroughly embarrassed.
July 27th, 2007 at 10:26 am
Not only is that woman dead-on, but Thompson revealed himself as a big phony when he said “fella” at a think tank.
Fella? No. Even if you’re from the south, that’s pronounced “fellow.”
He’s trying waaaaay too hard to be a good ol’ boy. It’s really, really annoying.
