Just?a little over a month ago, libertarian darling Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) burst (more like popped) onto the scene with an announcement that he was most definitely running for President.? On January 12th, Kent Snyder, Paul’s exploratory committee chairman, bellowed that Ron Paul is in it to win it, not just to sway the debates or push a cause, and stated that Paul would formally declare his candidacy within 1-2 weeks.
Now, 32 days after Paul launched his campaign website in all its 2 kb glory, Paul’s exploratory committee website remains?a grey “Under Construction” notice with the same old “This Web site will be completed soon” disclaimer.? If “soon” equals 32+ days to Paul, then I’d hate to discover at what pace a Paul presidential administration would move.? Seriously.? I’m a web designer myself.? If he’d paid me a couple hundred bucks, I’d have had a nice website up within three days.
But, alas, nobody has heard from Paul in a month now.? Perhaps the libertarian warrior is missing in action?? Oh well.

He is just holding true to the libertarian creed of less government. So less, that he is barely campaigning…

Hello, this is the first time I’ve visited your site. It looks very well put together and it seems you’ve worked hard on it. I was doing some research on 2008 Republican Presidential Candidate Ron Paul when I found this piece buried in the blog rankings.
Ron Paul is the leading Republican candidate among many popular social networking sites on the Internet like Digg and MySpace, where he has more ‘friends’ than Rudy and McCain combined. Yes, I know that social networking on the Internet isn’t going to win an election, but it is a good sign that younger voters are enthused and participating. He also has been performing quite well in various online polls since his name surfaced for the race, in the PajamasMedia poll that has gotten over 4,000 votes this past week Ron Paul had more than two times the votes of any other Republican candidate. He has a devoted and growing group of supporters.
Even those who disagree with some of his views know that he’s one of the few honest and hardworking politicians. Please give him a fair shot. You have 289 pieces for Mitt Romney yet only 3 for Representative Ron Paul.

Thank You for those inflamatory comments about Ron Paul’s Campaign. It is that type of “Elite Attitude” that will further motivate TRUE PATRIOTS to investigate what Dr. Paul has said on different issues. I have not heard one candidate, NOT ONE, discuss how the Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE BANK! and that the UNNECESSARY INTEREST paid to these thieves is in the form of INCOME TAX on our LABOR!!! (The Reagan Tax Commission)
