Quinnipiac released their latest “Thermometer Reading” poll which measures American’s “warm feelings” regarding prominent?politicians. Again, Rudy comes out on top by a large margin:
Americans have the warmest feelings about former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Republican Sen. John McCain and Democratic Sen. Barack Obama, according to a poll released Monday that scores the popularity of national leaders.
The Quinnipiac University’s “thermometer reading,” taken the week after the Nov. 7 election, asked voters to rate their feelings for 20 leaders on a scale of 0 to 100.
Giuliani, a Republican weighing a presidential bid in 2008, scored the highest at 64.2. Obama and McCain, who are also considering a 2008 campaign, finished next at 58.8 and 57.7.
Hillary came in 9th place out of 20, while John Kerry finished dead last.
Also worth noting is that Obama remains unknown to 40% of those polled, providing further evidence that Obamamania is being largely driven by Democrats and the MSM.

Here is the rest of the results from Quinnipiac, and I wonder why the mainstream media has failed
to report it. Good for Newsmax being on top of the Republican names being discussed around the nation.

It stated that 45% of American voters believe Condi is the most powerful woman in our nation,
and Hillary is only at 29%. 56% of the people say Hillary is qualified to become president and
50% of them also say Condi has potential to be in the next White House.
Just to keep all of you up to date in what is going on the Polling World, not just CNN stuff.

I can’t wait until 8-2007 when Condi comes in 4th, 5th, or worse place in the Ames Straw poll so we can put the Condi nonsense to bed for good.
No offense Debbie, but there is no great demand from Republicans to draft Condi. As a matter of fact, being a chief planner of the Iraq War, I suspect that the closer we get to 2008 the more that Republicans will be longing for the day that anyone associated with the Bush Administration will ride off into the sunset.
I mean the Iraq War is so popular with Americans right now isn’t it? So why don’t we nominate one of the people who is chiefly responsible for it? I’m sure that’s exactly what will win back all of the Indy’s we lost to the Dems in ’06!!!??   Â
I would just love for Condi to be the Republican nominee, so the Dems can run against her for as one of the main architechs of the Iraq War-something they will pound over, and over, and over again until November when whoever the Dems nominate blow her out of the water.
You know I love Condi Debbie, but she is finished as a Presidential candidate. Iraq has ended any chance of that happening.   Â
